sports medicine appointment
How much does a consultation cost?
Fees depend on the type of visit (initial assessment, follow-up, ultrasound-guided injection). All costs are the patient's responsibility in a private practice. Most private insurance plans reimburse part of the visit — see the Pricing page or call the clinic for current rates.
What is the difference between a family doctor and a sports medicine doctor?
A family physician provides general care and long-term follow-up. A sports medicine doctor has additional specialized training in evaluating and treating activity-related injuries — MSK ultrasound, guided injections, concussion protocols and return-to-play plans.
Do I need a referral from another doctor?
No. Dr Labrecque-Sauvé's sports medicine practice is private — no referral is needed. You can book online via Pomelo or by phone at 450-744-1715 ext. 3.
How soon can I get an appointment?
Pomelo shows real-time availability — most weeks have several open slots. For urgent situations (suspected fracture or acute concussion), call the clinic for prompt triage.
