No. Dr Labrecque-Sauvé practices in the private, non-participating sector. Consultations and infiltrations are not reimbursed by the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ).
Yes, in many cases. Many group insurance plans cover care from a physician practicing outside the RAMQ. Keep your itemized receipt and check your policy with your insurer.
Yes. An official receipt is issued after each consultation. It includes the physician's name, date, service rendered, and amount paid — the information typically required by insurers.
Most medical consultations are non-taxable. Certain administrative services (prescription renewal without a visit, insurance forms) and products such as botulinum toxin or filler injections are subject to taxes. The pricing table specifies this for each service.
Credit card and debit card payments are accepted. Payment is due at the time of the consultation.
At least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge. Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours' notice incurs a $75 fee (non-taxable).
No, viscosupplementation (e.g. Synvisc, Durolane) is not reimbursed by the RAMQ. Some private insurance plans may cover part of the product cost. Check your coverage before your appointment.
